We rely on the support of volunteers to help us serve the men, women, and children of Wyoming. Without your continued support and service to the Mission, we wouldn’t be able to offer the restorative hospitality that allow our guest to experience the love of Christ.
Getting started is easy, please review the volunteer opportunities below, read the WRM Volunteer Guidelines and complete the Volunteer Application, or contact our volunteer department at (307) 265-3002. Upon completion of the application, you can drop it off at our office.
Volunteers are considered for roles according to need, availability, gifting, faith, gender, and age. Our goal is to best match volunteers with the opportunities available and to meet the needs of our guests.
Here are some of the types of volunteers we look for:

Rescued Treasures Thrift Store
Rescued Treasures is a ministry of Wyoming Rescue Mission. We are always in need of volunteers when it comes to processing donations, sorting items, and cleaning the store. Rescued Treasures is located at 2935 East 2nd Street next to Hobby Lobby.
Assist with Events
Wyoming Rescue Mission holds many different events and fundraisers throughout the year. Fishin’ for the Mission is WRM’s largest annual event. Volunteers can assist with planning, making phone calls, distributing flyers, and more. If you are creative, organized, and/or interested in event planning, this is a valuable way to help.
During the holidays, Wyoming Rescue Mission has many specific needs for food, preparing and serving meals, and even decorating. The cold winter months bring more men, women, and children in need to our doors. If you or a group would like to be involved during Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter, volunteers are always needed and appreciated.
