What to expect

Park Street Center:  230 N. Park St.

When you arrive at Park Street Center, you will be greeted by our shelter associates. We always have one male and one female shelter associate working at the front desk.

We have an intake process that is done in a separate room so that you have the privacy you need to share your story. There is some paperwork that you will need to fill out and a shelter associate will go over the guidelines with you and assign you a bed. You will be asked some additional questions to better understand what brought you to Park Street Center. A case management session will be scheduled for you to help develop a plan moving forward. If you need anything or have any concerns during your stay with us, please let one of our staff know. We are here to help!

Emergency Services

Provided for men, women and children. This program gives an opportunity for our guests to get back on their feet. To help facilitate this, the Mission serves meals, provides laundry services, showers and individualized case management in a clean, safe environment.

Park Street Center provides:

  • Emergency Shelter beds
  • A social detox center for non-medical detox
  • Mercy Service dorm to serve the needs of men, women and children.

We are staffed by employees 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering a safe haven for those in need any time of day.

Mercy Services

A program developed for those men and women who have lost services but are still in need. We offer that person showers, food and a safe place to sleep.

Check-in for a bed is at 9:45 pm and check-out is at 6:15 am. Guests are given sack lunches and can return at 9:45 pm, if our services are still needed.

All those in need of an overnight stay or a long-term program residency are welcome.
