We rely on the support of volunteers to help us serve the men, women and children of Wyoming. Without your continued support and service to the Mission, we wouldn’t be able to offer the restorative hospitality that allows our guests to experience the love of Christ.
Getting started is easy! Please review the volunteer opportunities below, read the WRM Volunteer Guidelines and complete the Volunteer Application, or contact our volunteer department at (307) 265-3002. Upon completion of the application, you can drop it off at our office.

Rescued Treasures is a ministry of Wyoming Rescue Mission. We are always in need of volunteers when it comes to processing donations, sorting items, and cleaning the store.
Wyoming Rescue Mission holds many different events and fundraisers throughout the year. Fishin’ for the Mission is WRM’s largest annual event. Volunteers can assist with planning, making phone calls, distributing flyers, and more. If you are creative, organized, and/or interested in event planning, this is a valuable way to help.
During the holidays, Wyoming Rescue Mission has many specific needs for food, preparing and serving meals, and even decorating. The cold winter months bring more men, women, and children in need to our doors. If you or a group would like to be involved during Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter, volunteers are always needed and appreciated.
We are often in need of light electrical work, such as replacing switches, receptacles and lights; light plumbing work, such as unclogging drains, replacing faucets and repairing fixtures.
Also, general carpentry and landscaping, including maintenance of sprinkler systems. General maintenance, such as painting, cleaning air ducts and replacing filters.
Other tasks as directed by our maintenance coordinator.
Foster the love of Christ through Biblical studies. Volunteer opportunities include recovery training for a multitude of life issues or addictive behaviors, training of life fundamentals, and informing staff of issues brought up in class that should be addressed.
Provide in an area in which you professionally operate! Skills like resume building, personal finance, health management, etc., are all great examples for our guests to learn as they try to find jobs and transition back to independent living.
This is a great opportunity to help the homeless in Casper. We meet at Wyoming Rescue Mission for lunch and orientation. Volunteers will be split up into teams of at least two. Each team will share food, water, coffee, “Get Real Help” Cards, and prayer.
