Provide Meals and Care: Wyoming Rescue Mission’s Summer Campaign

“As we near the end of summer, our community’s help is essential to ensure those who are homeless and hungry in Natrona County receive the care they need right now and into the fall.”

– Brad Hopkins, Executive Director

Casper, Wyoming––In the final weeks of its 92-day “Love Your Neighbor Campaign” to help the homeless, Wyoming Rescue Mission urges the community to join today to help provide the meals and care struggling individuals in Natrona County need now.

“Lasting only from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the ‘Love Your Neighbor Summer Campaign’ is critical to fuel Wyoming Rescue Mission efforts to provide nourishing meals, safe shelter, and other life essentials for our hurting neighbors,” said Adam Flack, Community Engagement Coordinator at Wyoming Rescue Mission.  “As we near the end of summer, our community’s help is vital to ensure those who are homeless and hungry receive the care they need this month and into the fall.”

All year long, Wyoming Rescue Mission offers immediate help and long-term recovery services to those burdened by poverty, addiction, and other life-dominating challenges. Wyoming Rescue Mission provides nutritious meals, clean beds, and clothing, as well as residential programs, case management, mental health treatment, and vocational skills training to help struggling people get back on their feet.

“It will cost $175,000 for Wyoming Rescue Mission to provide the programs and services that can truly change the lives of our homeless, hungry neighbors this summer,” said Flack. “That’s why I encourage anyone with a heart to help to make a gift toward our ‘Love your Neighbor Campaign’ by August 31. Their compassion will make all the difference for local people in need.”
