“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
In this uncertain time, a time of emergency, the COVID-19 pandemic, I want you to know that Wyoming Rescue Mission is committed to serving the most vulnerable people in our community, just as we have for the past 42 years. We care deeply about the men, women and families who come to the Mission for meals, shelter and programs.
As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds and changes by the minute we are asking our community for support.
Here are some of our most critical needs:
- We need brave volunteers to help us serve meals to our guests and participants. Do not volunteer if you are 60 years of age or older, have health issues, or think you’ve been exposed to the virus.
- Donate food at Park Street Center.
- Donate financially
I have called on our staff as never before to dig deeper, to do more to help in this trying time. If you can dig deeper, join us in this fight in whatever way you can to help our most vulnerable neighbors. We covet your prayers.
